Delivering Results for Lancaster County

“On the County Board, I’ve helped deliver real results that are making a difference in people’s lives. With your support, I’ll keep fighting to strengthen our community.” - Rick

A lifelong Nebraskan, Rick spent 40 years at BNSF Railway. On the County Board, he works to build consensus and solve problems with commonsense solutions.

  • Cut the property tax levy to record lows

  • Increased access to health care and early childhood development

  • Invested in public safety by fully staffing the Sheriff’s and Corrections Departments

  • Built a resilient infrastructure network and made Lancaster County the most fiber-connected county in Nebraska

  • Helped bring the National High School Rodeo here

But Rick knows there’s more work to do. He’ll continue fighting to strengthen our community — lowering costs for families, cutting bureaucracy, and supporting economic development.

Three people, two men and one woman, are sitting on a bench outside under the sun, engaged in conversation and smiling.
